Roger Nathanial Ashtier,
Principal Consultant

Mr. Ashby has over 22 years of experience in Information Technology working in academia, government, nonprofits, and the private sector. Areas of expertise include solutions development and engineering, cloud computing solutions, data science & visualization, managed application and hosting services, project and program management, strategic partner management, and client relationship management. Mr. Ashby holds a degree in computer science and a BS in business from Johns Hopkins University.  Additionally, Mr. Ashby holds a graduate certification in International Development from Johns Hopkins SAIS and earned a Master of Public Administration at Columbia University SIPA with a concentration in Sustainable Development Practice (MPA-DP).

Mr. Ashby also serves as Executive Director of OpenWise Learning.

Abigail Hazelwood, Senior Consultant, Education Practice

Ms. Hazelwood has over 18 years of experience as an education professional. During that time, she has exclusively worked with underserved youths in urban schools and overseas in Latin America.  Experience has included providing literacy support as well as facilitating the specific learning needs of a very diverse student population. Ms. Hazelwood has developed curriculum modeling teaching strategies and best practices as well as developed lessons meeting new Common Core state standards.  Ms. Hazelwood has developed a curriculum for exchange education in Ipala, Guatemala. Ms. Hazelwood is a part of the Japanese/American Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program for Sustainable Development Education, Certified in Elementary Education (Grades 1-8), Certified in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Grades K-12), a National Board Certified Teacher Candidate, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Curriculum and Instruction and Master of Science in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Ms. Hazelwood also serves as the Education Director of OpenWise Learning.

Dr. Danielah Ashtier, MD, FACOG,
Senior Consultant, Health Practice

Dr. Gautier has practiced obstetrics and gynecology for the past 8 years in private practice and as a hospitalist. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami with honors in biology and received her Doctorate of Medicine from New York Medical College. She did her residency training at the Medical College of Georgia, which is now part of Augusta University, where she was the Administrative Chief Resident and served on the Education Committee. Dr. Gautier has experience working with underserved populations and takes a particular interest in health education.

Dr. Gautier also serves as the Operations Director of OpenWise Learning.
